Welcome
Our fantastic son Joseph is on the Autistic spectrum and I have set myself a challenge inspired by him. Between the 17th & 30th November 2011 I will be trekking through the Himalayan Mountains of India, crossing high mountain passes of 2700M and dense forest into Tibet. It is expected to be extremely testing physically and we will be camping in remote and dramatic conditions. The event and the months of preparation will be tough but I am doing this in order to help increase awareness and raise funds for children with autism and aspergers.

Training to date!
Training throughout the summer along our Devon coastal path has been a privilege, watching the sky and sea change colour hypnotised by the beauty of it all, treasured moments with family, friends and the dogs Tillie & Buddy as my companions have made it even more enjoyable and encouraging through the tough bits.
4 weeks to go so we have to up the anti now and get serious 5-6 hours walking a day for preparation!!
Will keep you posted x
